威力强大的暴风雪週一横扫美国加州，导致洛杉矶国际机场电力中断，导致逾百班飞机误点。
洛杉矶机场发言人卡斯特斯表示，早上6时挟带雷电的暴风雪强袭洛杉矶机场，备用发电机随即启动，各个航厦1小时内全面恢复供电。
她说：“抵达的航班将速度放缓，暴风雪笼罩期间，有2个航班改降安大略国际机场。”
有部份班机延误，但没有航班取消，预计稍後能恢复运作。
这场超大的暴风雪席卷加州全境，1夜间在内华达山脉部份山区带来近1公尺的降雪。
在洛杉矶，受到惊吓的民众在推特指称遭遇强风以及像豆子般大小的冰雹。其中1人说：“原本我还以为是地震，结果打雷、闪电、冰雹全来了，我很担心那些无家可归的街友。”小图为洛杉矶西北部卡迪山谷一片皑皑白雪。
