美国总统川普针对若干国家实施入境禁令，导致许多人抵达美国後遭拘留，令家属大为不满，纽约肯尼迪国际机场（Kennedy Airport）今天陷入痛苦和绝望的氛围。
美联社报导，川普昨天下令禁止7个穆斯林国家公民入境美国时，许多前往美国的班机已经起飞。
许多人今天在机场航厦焦急守候，等待获悉挚爱的人们能否获释，或被送上离境班机，25岁的贾里德（Yosre Ghaled）便是其中之一。
贾里德婆婆的姐妹是叶门公民，67岁的她因罹患心脏病和糖尿病，因此决定从沙乌地阿拉伯搭机前往美国与家人同住，却在下机後遭到拘留。

贾里德说，「我们非常难过，她过著非常恶劣的生活。我们试著让她安享晚年。」贾里德还说，家人获悉她将被拒绝入境，并将搭机返回沙乌地阿拉伯。
贾里德说：「我们等她等了好多年。他们应该让我们看看她。见到面会让人感觉好些。」
川普说，暂时实施入境限制是为了抵御潜在的恐怖分子。
数以百计抗议群众在机场示威，反覆高呼「让他们进来」，民主党国会议员纳德勒（Jerrold Nadler）和贝拉斯格斯（Nydia Velazquez）以及女星辛西亚尼克松（Cynthia Nixon）等名人，都加入示威行列。
