GPA只有85%，还有机会被UBC的commerce录取吗？
[size=4]如果high school的GPA只有85%，但是有大约1000小时的工作经验，里面包括volunteer, and leadership的。这还有机会进UBC的commerce吗？[s:198] [/size]

UBC cares more about how you write your supplementary application form than your mark (but of course you need to have a decent mark, i believe 85% should be fine)

the mininum is is 84% but since you have lots of work experience and leadership role then you should be okay. I think for
UBC commerce they weighted the supplemental and gpa equally since on the faq they said they have rejected someone with 99% average and accepted student with only 84% average.

1000小时的话机会很大，不过85%不叫GPA，叫AVERAGE。。。。

85%的average..差不多有3.95的GPA..没问题吧应该..

1000小时也要看你是做什么， 如果是什么part-time的工作经验估计没啥用途。 如果是community service + school organized events 会比较有好处。 他们其实不在乎你做了多少小时， 就是看你具体做了什么这样能凸显出你的all-rounded, and contribution to the
society.
